The deserted beach (Praia deserta) starts close to the village Barra do Superagüi. It's extension is about 37 km, and it ends at Barra da Ararapira. As it's name says, it is really a deserted beach. There are only three houses of fishermen along the whole beach. It is one of the least untouched beaches of that size in Brazil, showing original characteristics.
You can rent a bike and do the trip on one day, depending on the weather and the tide. You have to take water, food and solar protector, because you won't find any infrastructure on your way.
