How to arrive in Superagüi:

If you leave from Curitiba there are three different ways to get to Superagui. There isn’t a regular ship ride, the transport is done by freighted small motor boats called “voadeiras” or by fishing boats (it takes three to four hours starting from Paranaguá). You can't reserve the ride with fishing boats. We can transport you and the prices can be found on the price table.

1. Curitiba-Paranaguá-Superagüi

By car it takes about one hour from Curitiba to Paranaguá, 1h1/2 by bus and 3 hours by train. The trip by train is wonderful, it crosses the mountains (Serra do Mar) and for those who have never taken it it´s unmissable! (information about schedules and booking: 0**41/323-4008 or www.serraverdeexpress.com.br  ) Observation: Currently the train only goes to Morretes, there you have to get a bus or taxi to go to Paranaguá (about 30 km).

If you go by car to Paranaguá there’s a guarded parking lot where you can leave your car. The boat departures from the boarding place on Rua da Praia. If you go by bus it takes from 5 to 10 minutes to go on foot from there to the bus station.
The crossing from Paranaguá to Superagüi with our boat takes about 2 1/2 hours. This crossing isn’t always possible specially with windy weather, in this case, another route, by Guaraqueçaba, must be taken what takes about 4 hours.

2. Curitiba-Ilha do Mel-Superagüi

From Curitiba you have to go to Pontal do Sul and this trip can be taken by car (1 ½ h) or by bus (2h15m). There you catch a boat to Ilha do Mel (Brasilia Beach), the crossing takes about 30 minutes. In high season there are boats every 30 minutes and in low season every hour. We pick you up at Brasília, but this has to be combined in advance.

3. Curitiba-Guaraqueçaba-Superagüi

a) From Curitiba to Guaraqueçaba it takes 4 hours by car and 5 hours by bus, part of the road is not paved. We can pick you up in Guaraqueçaba. The crossing by boat from there to Superagui takes about 3 1/2 hours.. The trip is delightful you can enjoy the beautiful view of the bay with mangroves and islands.
b) You go to Paranaguá and take a boat to Guaraqueçaba. The trip takes about 2 1/2h. Information about schedules: 0**41/422-6882.
